Webinar: Prototyping the SKA pipeline with Karabo
Prototyping the SKA pipeline with Karabo, from raw data generation to final data products.
In the context of the development of the SKA radio telescope, it is becoming essential to have robust and modular pipelines capable of simulating, calibrating and imaging radio observations.
The main challenge is to realistically reproduce all stages of the radio imaging chain, taking into account instrumental and atmospheric factors.
The objective is to build a complete radio imaging pipeline by leveraging existing tools such as Karabo (orchestration), OSKAR (visibility simulation) and QuartiCal (calibration), while paving the way for the future integration of deep learning methods to optimise or replace certain traditional steps, such as image reconstruction.
